When children manipulate snap blocks, puzzles and other interactive materials they learn about problem solving, deductive reasoning, special relations, geometry and patterning. Many of these concepts are important in future math operations. Overall, children must be provided with various mediums to help enhance their development of reading, math, social, physical and emotional skills. During learning center time children have these opportunities to have success in all of these areas starting from where they are in their development and growing forward as an individual. This form of learning promotes a positive and strong attitude toward a life long learning process.
