The objective and purpose of the Preschool curriculum is to begin to learn and master letter and number recognition, develop a healthy imagination, brainstorm problem-solving solutions, and apply already mastered learning skills to a new concept. Preschool children are given the tools and wherewithal to explore with various objects to further develop their understanding of what has been introduced to them throughout the early stages of childhood. Preschool children are beginning to become more active members of a community where they can cooperate and discuss solutions with others to complete a common task. Aware of their feelings and how they can affect the lives of others. The teaching staff in the preschool classroom is consistently challenging the student to further their understanding of concepts, strategies and ideas while engaging them in stimulating and fun activities.
