infants

...............

The objective of the infant classroom exercises and curriculum is to offer children the exposure to the world around them through touching and sensory activities.

Children are offered a variety of experiences using their senses to gain understanding and alertness. The infant schedule and activities are completed on an individualized basis. The staff in the infant room fully understands the importance of meeting the basic needs of the children to gain trust and acceptance. The infant room teachers will challenge the children to develop their hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills. This is accomplished by playing, grasping objects, sitting, crawling, rolling over and walking.

The child will gain self-confidence as each milestone is learned and mastered. The infant room is designed to provide a clean, home-like atmosphere for our crawling infants. The infant room is the first school experience and is the onset of a positive learning attitude.
